What is HILT?

High-intensity laser therapy (HILT) is a new technology accepted by the FDA in 2011 for pain relief. Since then, it has demonstrated to be more effective than Ultrasound, Electro-stim, Shockwave, and Low-level laser therapy. The high power allows for a sufficient energy dose to a large treatment area in an efficient manner. During treatment, patients can expect to feel a warm soothing sensation, similar to being in the sun. Traditionally, HILT devices require safety goggles and advanced training, but Svyet will be the first eye-safe and skin-safe HILT device that is easy to use.

Photobiomodulation

PBM simply means light induced cellular change. There are over 7000+ studies of PBM in various medical applications such as dermatology, cartilage regeneration, and pain relief. When the light penetrates through your skin, it is absorbed in the Mitochondria of your cells. This process helps generate ATP, otherwise known as energy. When your cells have more energy, they are able to carry out their natural functions in a facilitated manner, and in turn, you heal quicker. It is quite literally an energy boost for your cells.
